The simple rotating arm acts to endlessly pan a camera up and down, or as it appears on the projection, backwards and forwards. The wall view becomes that of a flat polar landscape, and a needle with a few strips of plastic glued to the end creates a rendering reminiscent of the Norwegian Flag.
The end effect is highly cinematic. The fans create rising and falling monotonic sound as the camera moves closer and further away.
